This city loves the
Arts
Hyderabadies
are very good patrons of magicians and artistes.
From children to adults, everyone patronises
arts in this beautiful city.
Such patronage
only give the magicians and artistes a further
boost to come up with innovative tricks
and treats.
Thanks to
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Hyderabad
is now famous, not for its biryani, but
also for the Information Technology revolution.
Even in a
country like, Pakistan, who are our traditional
rivals, the moment one say so-and-so is
from India, they immediately identify the
person with Hyderabad. For them India is
Hyderabad and vice versa. I had personally
experienced this during the famous Lahore
bus trip with Prime Minister A.B. Vajpayee.
This city
is today much cleaner and greener. The construction
of flyovers has also added an extra charm
to the city. We have some of the best tourist
and historical places such as Golconda Fort,
Charminar, Qutub Shahi Tombs, Lumbini Park
and Hussain Sagar. The weather too is lovely
throughout the year.
There
is a popular misconception about Hyderabadi
food being non-vegetarian. But ask for any
vegetarian dish of your choice, and you’ll
get it within a jiffy. In fact, the Andhra
cuisine has some very popular vegetarian
recipes. All the more reason why I relish
this city so much.
