Minister for Youth and
Sports D. Pranay Bhasker inaugurating on
Tuesday the free summer camp for youth organised
by Roshni Vidya Vikas and the Directorate
of Youth Services. Magician Samala Venu
and Director of Youth Services B. Kashinath
are also seen.
The Directorate
of Youth Services, Government of Andhra
Pradesh and Roshni Vidya Vikas are jointly
organising a free summer camp for one month
for youth from May 16 to June 15 in magic,
mimicry and folk dances on the premises
of the Directorate.
The camp
was inaugurated on Tuesday by Minister for
Sports and Youth Services Mr. Pranay Bhaskar.
The minister advised the youth to make use
of this opportunity and propagate the welfare
programmes of the Government among rural
masses.
The camp
is being organised with the co-ordination
of Mr. Samala Venu, National Youth Awardee
and General Secretary for Roshni Vidya Vikas,
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Venu emphasize
the need to tap the hidden talent in the
youth to utilize it for the development
and betterment of the society and the nation
as well. He said cultural programmes are
a good media for the propagation of various
developmental activities and schemes of
the Government and for mass communication.
The programme
was presided over by the Director of Youth
Services Mr. B. Kashinath, IPS. It concluded
with a vote of thanks by Deputy Director,
Mr. Satyanarayana and a cultural programme
was presented.
